FinePix A825
Okay, so I finally sold my old Fuji FinePix S3100 today, it was a great camera for features and being a full featured camera I could have gone the lens route with it, but I never got around to buying lenses so what the hell did I need this monster for? Plus the image stabilization sucked out loud. I need something to snap pictures and go, and something that I can stick in my pocket. I took that money and reinvested in the FinePix A825 and am very thrilled so far.
This post is after just a dozen photos so far, but I’m going to let you see what I’m talking about. I snapped a photo of my cat/security guard Keegan in the Macro mode, low light with flash.
Here’s the thumbnail, click for the full size (I trimmed it down a tad because full size was over 3200px wide, cut it down to 2600px wide).
I believe that I will have a ton of fun photo-wise next time I take this out for a real world example, maybe next week’s Arch Rivals roller derby match…

Samsung m610
I have been using this phone for around a few weeks. I recently switched jobs and lost my free cellular phone, and as my wife using Sprint I figured I should get one too, that way we can share the M2M(Mobile to Mobile). My buddy works for Sprint and hooked me up on a referral program for very cheap and recommended I replace my RAZR with their m610, I’m very pleased so far, the audio quality is great, it’s actually thinner than the RAZR and I can use funformobile.com to upload my own made ringtones and wallpapers, so that’s pretty hip.
Likes:
Thinness
Sound Quality
Rubbery feel to the case
Battery Life
Dislikes:
Occasional Reset for no reason
I give this phone a 9.5 out of 10 in rating, it’s a solid phone with great features, and very tough for a slimphone.

Wirefly.com
The following is a paid review for Wirefly.com
As a seasoned consumer I am not a stranger to price shopping. Whether it’s for deals on computer hardware, the best deals on a vacation or cellular service, I want to find out that I’m getting the best deal possible. And my first stop is on the internet back and forth from site to site! What a pain that can be sometimes, it’s rather time consuming and as you know time is money. With Wirefly I can feed my local information into the site and they’ll run down a list of cellular providers and show me their best deals. This is very handy for the person “on the go” as I so often resemble. So I pop in my zip code, click submit, then sit back and review all of the plans available to me. To take it a few steps further I decided to check out one of the providers, I am currently still in contract but if the deal was enticing enough for me to switch maybe I would. Not only did I find a few pretty good deals with some of the competition, but I could also get a good deal on a wireless broadband card as well. So if someone would buy me a new Powerbook maybe? So what’s my opinion? I like to generally make my final deal in person, but I would jump on some of these deals in a heartbeat if I didn’t have that early termination fee to worry about.
