THE BIG DAY
Today I get up, it seems like any other morning but I know that this is the most significant morning of my life. Today I pledge my entire life to my love. My best man and I have some coffee and chat with a buddy Andy who came in from Iowa for this special event. Before long it’s “Go Time” as my good friend and best man (the Go-Tard) says, time to get suited up! I jump in the shower and get all shaved up and then get into my attire, then he does the same. We make sure a final check for the rings and various stuff for the photographer is in our possession. With a “Last chance to back out man” I answer my best man with “No way, I’ve never been more sure of something in my life!”. We hop into his Jeep and head off to Tower Grove Park. Everything went perfect in the ceremony and we had some time to kill before the reception so my Beautiful new Bride and I (along with our Maid of Honor and Best Man) headed off for a cocktail at one of our favorite watering holes, this was fun to do in our very formal wear. Off to the reception after that and our roommate Andy was already there setting up decorations and such, guests started to arrive as well as the food. Everyone had a really great time and Michael began to play his acoustic set, everyone was very impressed with our wedding and reception, but we decided to duck out a little early and head over to the hotel Mintastic had reserved as a surprise! After that, I’ll leave that up to your imagination everyone, let’s just say we are happily Man and Wife

One Day
This is a posting after the fact, today I was not supposed to be at home after golfing. And I won’t get to see Mintastic again until she’s walking down the isle with a dress that I’m told is going to knock my socks off We played golf today my best man and I, very poorly but we had fun nonetheless. Afterwards we had a bit of last minute running around to do, get our “Monkey Suits” as he calls them, then we watched some movies and I hung out with a few of my closest friends. I know that most people think that an evening before a wedding the groom should be out and up to no good but that’s just not me, I valued my last evening a single man with no regrets! Tomorrows the BIG day, I’m starting to get too excited to sleep, Mintastic is already at that point

Two Days
I finally feel like everything is taken care of! Ceremony, Reception, Music, Food, Photos, Guests, Bride, Groom, Maid of Honor, Best Man, etc
And the weather forecast seems to be looking good for our outdoor October wedding *crosses fingers* hopefully the weatherman is right about this one.

Three Days
Today I got into a bind on the transportation thing, again. Renting a car will not be an option either so a friend of ours Lisa will be providing transport to the ceremony and to the reception, after that we’re on our own. Everything else seems to be swimming along nicely! Two days from now is my bachelor’s golf excursion, that should prove to be fun!

Four Days
Today was another big day. Limo woes have forced us to look into alternative methods for transportation on the big day as Mintastic’s dress will not fit into either of our compact cars, lol. I did some other running around to get everything ready to go for the big day. We went out for cocktails this evening and had a good time at the Tin Can on Morganford, I just want everything to go great for the big day. That’s the only thing I’m nervous about

Five Days
Today we took care of a ton of stuff, swim wear for the honeymoon, gifts for the best man/maid of honor, payment for the caterer and visited parents a bit. We got home fairly late in the evening after hitting the Waffle House.

Six Days
Today will end a stretch of work for me that has lasted seven days. I have a couple of days off and I plan to use them wisely. This evening we watched Lucky # Slevin, what a great movie! We’re getting to bed early this evening, much to do tomorrow!

Seven Days
Whoa, this day wiped me out something fierce. Post loooooooong work day I took Mintastic out for the evening. We had a great time at Nick’s pub listening to this guy John, a guitarist and does some old Irish folk music which is very cool. We both needed to really cut free for an evening like that, moving forward we are both excited and really getting anxious to tie the knot!

Eight Days
Today was a good day, woke up after sleeping in, Mintastic and I went to IHOP for a brunch, then off to tan for a bit, trying to put a good base on before we head to the Rivera Maya resort for the honeymoon, don’t want to burn you know. Had to work the game today with a bunch of noobies so I was outta here for most of the evening. After tanning though we spent the afternoon back in bed, it was a nice change of pace. At present I’m about to head to bed, it’s late and I have a fourteen hour day ahead of me tomorrow 
We’ll be getting the final bits of the reception taken care of on Monday/Tuesday, I will cover most of that, it’s been a godsend that we had a little help on both sides, more on Mintastic’s side so far. I plan to make up for that in no time, I ended up having to spend a tad more of my earnings on some debts incurred from lawyer fees and other stuff that happened to me last year.
